25 years – QSI celebrates a milestone!

How QSI was born...

QSI was founded in 1999 through the merger of three laboratories:

1.        the Institute for Honey Research, which was founded in 1954 by Dr. Herwarth Duisberg and has been managed by Dr. Cord Lüllmann since 1989

2.        the Institute for Pharmaceutical Analysis

3.        the chemical-technical laboratory Dr. C. Lüllmann

The qualities of these 3 laboratories were combined and QSI was created.

As an accredited laboratory with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and experienced specialist staff, QSI offers a comprehensive range of tests on foodstuffs - with a focus on honey, coffee and tea - pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical raw materials.

Thanks to the GMP certificate, GMP analyses of medicinal cannabis and other pharmaceutical products are also possible. This makes QSI an indispensable partner for production, trade and export when it comes to product safety, hygiene and quality control.

QSI has been a member of the Tentamus Group since 2013 and is therefore able to offer complete analytics for national and international innovative quality control requirements.

Continuous progress

QSI has invested heavily in recent years and is a world leader with its technical equipment.

What makes QSI special, however, is the well-coordinated team of experienced employees, the very well standardized processes and the high level of customer orientation.

This quality has ensured that QSI has reached this significant milestone this year and can look back on 25 years of success.
