The impact of climate change on feed

The effects of climate change have been particularly noticeable recently – droughts, heavy rainfall, typhoons and other extreme weather conditions are occurring. This, plus increased COvalues also lead to changes in the cultivation of food and feed.

These changes appear in the nutrient content of the feed and shows in less proteins, minerals and vitamins. Weakened plants also make the contamination of mycotoxins more likely.

In order to determine the right nutrient content and to prove the possible infestation of mycotoxins, some testing is necessary. The laboratories of the Tentamus Group support you here with analyses of the following mycotoxins:

  • M170 Patulin AOAC 995.10
  • M004 Aflatoxin M1 (by HPLC/MS)
  • Multi-Mycotoxin Screen: Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, G2, Deoxynivalenol, Fumonisins, Ochratoxin A, T-2 and HT-2 Toxin, Zearalenone
