#WorkersWednesday Part 16

It’s finally that time again!

Almost every Wednesday, we would like to introduce an employee of the Tentamus Group in this category. Today, it’s Gian Piero, who tells his story. He is the Technical Director of Tentamus Agriparadigma (Italy).

Have fun reading his interview!

You & Tentamus

1. Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us in which department you work.

My name is Gian Piero. I am a chemist and have long been involved in chemical analysis in the field of environment and food safety. I am passionate about technology and working on the development and optimization of analytical methods. Currently I am technical manager at Tentamus Agriparadigma in the beautiful city of Ravenna.

2. How does your daily workday look like?

I am spending about 50% of my time to solve technical issues, 25% for office work and the rest of the time, studying solutions for customers requests and making plans for the future.

3. Can you remember your first week here? How did you find it at your new workplace?

When the company joined the Tentamus Group, I was surprised. At that time there was a lot of talk about the sale of our lab, but I did not really believe it and did not know Tentamus. I was worried and at the same time excited and curious about the opportunities that this change could bring. It was a strange but fun period.

4. What do you like most about your job?

My work gives me the opportunity to study and analyze many different analytical problems. It is a constant challenge to find new ideas and solutions to improve our work. It is very gratifying when I can come up with innovative solutions.

5. What would you tell potential applicants?

Do not ask what Tentamus will do for you, but what together we can do for Tentamus.

6. What superpower would make your work more enjoyable?
