Extension and conversion of accreditation

For many years, QSI GmbH holds an accreditation as a testing laboratory for the analysis of food and pharmaceutical raw materials. Regular inspections by the independent German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) provide evidence of the competence of our expert staff, the quality of our analytical results and the suitability of our laboratory equipment.

In 2020, the DAkkS extended our existing accreditation, which includes the conversion to the new and revised standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and also the confirmation of the flexible scope of accreditation. The flexible accreditation allows us as a testing laboratory to use further standard methods as well as the modification of existing test methods, which go beyond the methods mentioned in the annex to the accreditation certificate. Due to the flexible accreditation, we can also conduct these analyses within the accredited scope without requiring prior information and approval by the DAkkS.

In the course of the conversion to the new ISO 17025 standard, our management system was expanded to meet the increased requirements. This will further increase the quality of our test results as well as our services.
