With Regulation (EU) 2020/1085, the maximum residue limits (MRL) for chlorpyrifos and chlorpyrifos-methyl were reduced as of 13 November 2020. Since that date, tea marketed in the EU has to comply with the stricter requirements for the maximum residue limits.
