Arne Dübecke attended the Global Understanding of Food Fraud: Towards Global Action for Prevention and Mitigation of Food Fraud conference in Beijing on 30 and 31 October. This is were he met Prof. Dr. Spink, Director of the Food Fraud Initiative at Michigan State University.
Following this he attended the 11th China International Food Safety & Quality Conference on Food Safety and Food Fraud which was held in Beijing on November 1 and 2. From there he went on to Prague, where the 8th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis (RAFA) opened its doors from 7 to 10 November. Finally he gave a lecture on “Risk analysis and sample management Food Fraud”at the BAV food symposium in Offenburg on 10 November.
